Hi, I'm Posey.

I'm the founder of Bompies, an award-nominated salon owner, hairdresser, and busy mum of three from Melbourne.

For more than 20 years, I've worked in the hair industry, and for over a decade I've owned Harpo Hair—an award-nominated Melbourne hair salon built on creating beautiful hair while helping women feel confident every day. I'm still behind the chair several days a week, so I have real conversations with clients about healthy hair, hair care, and how to make that fresh salon feeling last a little longer.

Bompies was never created to be just another hair accessory brand.

It started because I wanted to solve a problem for my clients.

As a hairdresser, there is honestly nothing better than seeing someone leave the salon with a fresh blow wave. They walk out feeling confident, and I wanted that feeling to last for as long as possible. I kept searching for a luxury shower capthat would actually keep my blow wave looking fresh, keep my hair clean between washes, and help protect my ends from unnecessary heat damage by reducing how often I needed to wash and restyle my hair. When I couldn't find one that did everything I wanted, I decided to create it myself.

That Bompies Shower Cap became the very first product in the collection and is still at the heart of our brand today. It's designed to help extend the life of your salon hair, protect your hairstyle from steam and moisture, reduce the need for frequent washing, and make healthy, beautiful hair easier to maintain every day.

As Bompies has grown, so has the range—but the reason behind every product has stayed exactly the same: creating beautiful, practical hair accessories that make everyday life a little easier while helping you care for your hair.

Being a busy mum of three, I know firsthand how precious time is. Between school drop-offs, work, family life and trying to fit everything into a day, I wanted products that actually made my routine easier. That's why we created our microfibre towel wraps, designed to gently absorb excess water, reduce drying time and minimise the amount of heat needed when styling your hair.

From there came our 100% Mulberry Silk Scrunchies, created to help reduce hair breakage, prevent creases and protect your hair while sleeping, exercising or simply wearing it up throughout the day. Every product has been thoughtfully designed with the same goal—to help you achieve healthier hair with less effort.

Everything you'll find at Bompies has come from real conversations with real clients sitting in my salon chair. These aren't products created in a boardroom—they're products inspired by years of professional experience, tested with real clients and used every day by my own family.

As Bompies has grown, so has our vision. Today, we're proud to wholesale Bompies products to hair salons, beauty salons and retailers across Australia, helping other salon owners offer their clients premium hair accessories that are both beautiful and practical.

As a salon owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to find high-quality salon retail products that clients genuinely love and continue to use at home.
